Keely Brennan has been apart of Emerge since its inception and is now our Program Coordinator. At the age of 15, she began her career in nonprofits as a volunteer for Art on the Edge, where she met her mentor Jeni. Throughout her high school career, Keely volunteered for events and gallery installations, taught youth art classes, and completed various graphic design tasks for Emerge. For her senior project, Keely facilitated Emerge’s first youth art show where all proceeds went to the Children’s Village and soon after received the Mayor’s Arts Award in 2016 for Youth Impact through the Arts. Aside from this organization, Keely was the art teacher and the art program coordinator for the Spokane County North-town Boys and Girls Club from 2016 to 2018 while completing her Associates of Fine Arts at Spokane Falls Community College. In her spare time, Keely enjoys many areas of creation and practices the art of mindfulness while spreading love in any way she can.
