From a Galaxy not so far from you, Emerge presents an “out of this world” Spring Break art Camp!
Campers will enjoy three jam packed days of Star Wars themed art utilizing objects from our natural world.
Campers will explore distant lands (Tubbs Hill), to create eco-friendly nature sculptures that will be left for other explorers to enjoy. Students will gather small rocks, sticks, etc. to build space craft mini sculptures back at Emerge.
Students will create outdoor scenes using mini Star Wars figures and then learn photography skills by capturing their vision on camera.
Campers will learn basic screen printing skills by designing a Star Wars image, carving a block print, and screen printing it on their own T-shirt.
Camp will conclude with a family and friends reception in the Emerge gallery where all art work will be on display. Campers can take their work with them at the end of the reception.
