Spend an afternoon learning the basics of frame loom weaving.. and make new friends too!

In this workshop, accomplished textile artist, Sue Tye, will teach you the basics of frame loom weaving and help you complete a woven textile to take home.

Each student will have be using an Emerge loom. Emerge will also provide the essential materials needed to complete a small weaving. Students are encouraged to bring any special items they might want to add into their weaving; such as, beads, feather, buttons or fabric scraps. Have an interesting stick or branch? Bring it to attach your completed weaving (optional)!

Workshop Details:

* Participants ages 16 +. (ages 12 – 15 if accompanied by a parent/guardian)

*Workshop cost includes four hours of instruction and guidance as well as materials.

*Please plan to arrive on time, as the workshop will start promptly and move quickly into the activities.

*Since this is a longer workshop, bring a personal beverage and a snack if you’d like!
