Henna and Felted Dreads
Instructors Alyssa Bennett and Sue Tye
Students will explore the origins of using natural pigment from the henna plant as a form of body adornment that has evolved and spread across the globe over time. Hands-on how henna paste is prepared, practice design, applications & aftercare. Learn to work wool into felted dread locks and twist colorful yarns into cords. The dread locks will be attached to hair clips that are easy to slip into hair.
Wear clothing to be creative in.
