Develop your sensitivity to abstract forms through exploring the creative process and techniques of Georgia O’Keeffe.  Whether she painted clouds, flowers, skulls, or the desert, Georgia O’Keefe’s style  developed out of strong lines, dynamic color and careful design that is deceptively simple and yet built on learnable design principles.

You’ll Create a painting in her style from starting with contour drawings to the completion of a painting using washes and color gradation techniques in acrylic or tempera paint.  You’ll build your skills in shading, color blending and abstract form.

This class is structured so the beginner or more advanced student will enjoy it and be able to complete a satisfactory piece.

This is a three part class.  April 12th, 19th, and 26th.   6:00 – 8:30 pm
