This class will explore the basic skills of hand-carving into soft rubber linoleum, which is a lot like creating your own stamp!

We will create images worthy to be framed and given away as a gift from our own unique linoleum block designs.

No previous block printing skills are necessary, but the ability to use sharp carving tools is important.

This is a two part class: the first half will introduce the basics of printmaking and the second will build on those skills while exploring advanced printmaking methods.

Students should plan on attending both workshops.

This class is led by Willow Rosales who graduated from Fairhaven College in Bellingham, WA with a printmaking degree.
