Anyeh Rosenau

Hi I am Anyeh creator of things, mother, witch, activist, crazy cat lady and sole operator of CVLT NOIR ART. I love nature, magic, goth culture, tattoos, crystals and all things black. I began life as a creative soul but like so many of us, I grew up in a family who did not value art and who were very afraid to explore the mysterious sides of life. I was forced to stop creating at about the age of 12 and it took me until I was 35 to begin making art again. It is never too late to be unapologetically yourself. In art is where I find my true self. I am mostly self taught but did attend the SFCC art program for 4 quarters, until life pulled me into a different direction. A lot of my creations are brought into existence during my periods of growth and are imbued with intentions and manifestations. I am drawn to symmetry, bold lines, and balance. My medium of choice is ink on paper but I also love making jewelry and re-purposing used clothing with black dye and screen printing. I don’t use much color, for no reason other than loving the simplicity of black and white, yet I do enjoy adding gold from time to time. I run a small Etsy shop where you can find listings for my original works, digital prints, and my handmade jewelry.
