Week 1 of Summer in Color

Four day Summer Camp, M - Th | Ages 7 - 9 | June 10th - 13th |  9am - 3pm

Emerge summer camps are back for another year! Join us this year to celebrate a Summer in Color through exciting hands-on art projects, arts education, and outdoor activities. 

This weeks theme All Things Paint, will immerse your camper in various painting techniques and activities led by Emerge's fantastic youth instructors. 

Monday

Morning - Painting landscapes in the park with Sarah

Afternoon - Abstract painting with Erik

Tuesday

Morning - Learn about the color wheel and create a multi-media painting with Bethany

Afternoon - Paint/underglaze pre-made ceramic cups and bowls with Katie

Wednesday

Morning - Finish multi-media painting with Bethany

Afternoon - Finish abstract paintings and/or work on other unfinished projects with Erik.

Thursday

Morning - Splatter paint and drawing activity with Ash

Afternoon - Finger painting with Katie

Each day campers will take a lunch break from 11:45 - 12:15

Camp Requirements:

• Campers must arrive dressed in comfortable clothing that is okay to get dirty and shoes they can walk in. Weather allowing they may spend some of the day outside.
• Please send your camper with lunch and a water bottle. We have a fridge available for food storage but no microwave. 
• Parents or guardians are required to walk their child down to the studio each day to sign in and come down again to sign them out for pickup.
