Four day Summer Camp, M - Th | Ages 10 - 12 | June 24th - 27th |  9am - 3pm

Emerge summer camps are back for another year! Join us this year to celebrate a Summer in Color through exciting hands-on art projects, arts education, and outdoor activities. 

This weeks theme Alternative Artforms, will explore the limits of traditional fine art. Under the instruction of Emerge's skilled youth instructors, campers will be introduced to the world of fiber arts and learn about alternative ways to use paper in art. 

Monday

Morning - Create a fabric collage with Bethany

Afternoon - Tie-dye tote bags or t-shirts with Erik

Tuesday

Morning - Learn the basics of embroidery with Bethany

Afternoon - Make paper from pulp with Ash

Wednesday

Morning - Embroider on tie-dyed tote bags or t-shirts with Bethany

Afternoon - Papier-mâché & balloon sculptures with Erik

Thursday

Morning - Art project with hand-made paper with Ash

Afternoon -  Finish papier-mâché sculptures with Erik

Each day campers will take a lunch break from 11:45 - 12:15

Camp Requirements:

• Campers must arrive dressed in comfortable clothing that is okay to get dirty and shoes they can walk in. Weather allowing they may spend some of the day outside.
• Please send your camper with lunch and a water bottle. We have a fridge available for food storage but no microwave. 
• Parents or guardians are required to walk their child down to the studio each day to sign in and come down again to sign them out for pickup.
