Ceramic Tableware Class | Katie | May 30th - June 27th

4-week course. Thursdays from 5pm - 8pm. May 30th - June 27th

There will be NO class held on Thursday June 20th, Katie will be out of town

This specialty class led by Katie Rose will cover the fundamentals of creating tableware perfect for any home. Katie will walk students through creation of plates and bowls both on the wheel and through slab-building using plaster molds. 

It's recommended to have previous ceramic experience in order to get the most out of this class. 

Ages 16+

Included in this course: 25lbs of clay*, tools, studio glazes, and the firing of all finished work.

*This class starts students with 25lbs of clay; most people will not need more. For students that do need more we sell it for $15 per 12.5lbs, it can be purchased at any time. 

We offer 1-2 monitored open studio times each week. Open studio times are currently Wednesdays and Saturdays from 1pm - 4pm. All work made in this class must be finished within two weeks of the last day of class. Out of respect for our limited storage space, finished work must be picked up within 30 days of firing. All abandoned work not finished or picked up within this timeframe may be recycled or thrown away.  

We do ask that students provide their own TOWELS. We recommend a small dish-sized towel, but a full-size towel works as well.
