Emerge summer camps are back for another year! Join us this year to celebrate a Summer in Color through exciting hands-on art projects, arts education, and outdoor activities. 

This weeks theme Week of Clay, will cover all of the basics on how to work with clay! From pinch pots to throwing on the wheel kids will get the whole ceramic experience. Any students enrolled in this class with previous clay experience will be given more challenging projects to work on. 

Monday

Learning the basics, making pinch pots, coil pots, and slab forms with Erik

Tuesday

Use Monday's skills to make a tic tac toe board with Katie

Wednesday

Finish Monday's projects with Erik

Thursday

Finish tic tac toe boards and try out throwing on the wheel with Katie

Please note, unlike our other weeks this is a half day camp. While there will not be a dedicated lunch break, campers will get a short snack time. 

Camp Requirements:

• Campers must arrive dressed in comfortable clothing that is okay to get dirty and shoes they can walk in. Weather allowing they may spend some of the day outside.
• Please send your camper with a water bottle and a small snack. We have a fridge available for food storage but no microwave. 
• Parents or guardians are required to walk their child down to the studio each day to sign in and come down again to sign them out for pickup.
