"Alexandra Iosub is a professional artist who lives sustainably and insists on working between media. Her work was exhibited nationally and internationally, and she has taught art across the US. 

The goal of this book is to document a synthesis of work and personal practice that has taken place between 2009 and 2023, in image and free verse form. It thus exists as a pocket gallery for work that may no longer exist or is not shown in a public space. 

'Cartilage' is about showcasing the in-between spaces that are to uncomfortable or too invisible to notice and appreciate, though they act as background and foundation to the very life we live."
