Paper Portraits | Ages 8-11 | Kyra | October 2nd

One day workshop. Thursday October 2nd, 4pm - 6pm. Ages 8 - 11.

Join Kyra, Emerge's newest youth instructor, for a fun evening of crafting! Create a whimsical pet portrait out of construction paper. Learn how to break a subject down to its basic shapes in order to make an abstract yet recognizable depiction of your favorite furry friend!

Easy for a range of ages and all skill levels, students can customize their portrait to show off their creative ideas!

Students are encouraged to bring a few photographs that they'd like to use as a reference for their portrait. These can be of your family pet, your friend's pet, or just a picture from google! 

Scholarships are available for any students 18 and under, courtesy of CDA Arts Commission and United Way of North Idaho. APPLY HERE.
